Phenrex Wound Flush is 0.2% Chlorhexidine Gluconate in an aqueous solution. It does not contain alcohol, no stinging. Chlorhexidine Gluconate retains its activity in the presence of blood. It does not affect the local immune response, is not locally toxic and has a long residual effect.

Irrigation of dirty wounds.
